Brussels College Night 2011
Brussels College Night 2011 will take place on October 5, 2011.
The primary purpose of Brussels College Night is to help secondary school students and families learn about higher education opportunities in the United States. This year, we are expecting admissions staff, university faculty members and alumni from over 50 institutions to attend the event, share information about their universities and answer questions from prospective students and their families. While the emphasis is on American higher education, there will also be representatives from U.S. accredited English-speaking programs throughout Europe.
There will be a shuttle bus between Brussels Central Station and St. John’s. Note, it is a 40 minute ride without traffic between these locations. The bus will wait at « Parking Rue du Cardinal Mercier » 1000 Brussel (close to the central Station). Please follow the link below to locate the place on a map: http://maps.google.be/maps?pq=parking+cardinal+mercier+1000+brussels&hl=en&sugexp=pfwc&cp=4&gs_id=d&xhr=t&q=rue+cardinal+mercier+1000+brussels&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1440&bih=695&wrapid=tljp131702851052704&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x47c3c47fdd15d9e5:0x4dfcdebccee8e959,Rue+du+Cardinal+Mercier,+1000+Bruxelles&gl=be&ei=qEKATp6JAcLqOcz2kNgP&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1&sqi=2&ved=0CB0Q8gEwAA
A Fulbright representative will be waiting there with a sign to escort you onto the bus and answer any questions you may have. The Fulbright representative will also be inside Central Station, right outside of Starbucks, at 3:45 and 5:05 to lead people to the bus stop, if you feel more comfortable meeting there and walking to the stop together. Feel free to email us and ask for further clarification if you are still unsure of where to go. We want to make sure that everyone arrives at St. John’s safely and on time!
