A. Where to stay – The Fulbright Commission provides a shuttle bus to and from the fair, beginning at the Starbucks in Brussels Central Station. It is therefore recommended that university representatives stay at a hotel near Brussels Central Station or Brussels Zaventem Airport, as there is a train that connects the airport directly with Brussels Central. The trains run every 15-20 minutes and the one-way trip takes approximately 15 minutes. You will find a few hotel recommendations below:

B. How to ship materials – To ship printed materials or equipment in advance, please use the International School of Brussels’ address provided on this page. Please make sure to label your boxes “Brussels college night” when shipping to ISB. You can contact Ms. Mina Ouanani (email@example.com) directly with any shipping or logistical questions. Please indicate on the boxes you send that the enclosed materials are for College Night.
One table (size 100cm x 75cm) and 1 chair will be provided for each institution. You are welcome to use stand up banners and bring table clothes for the table.

Universities are encouraged to bring materials about any NCAA, NIAI, or NJCAA athletic programs and/or Summer and English Language Programs available for international students at their school. Representatives are also encouraged to collect information from their university about how many Belgian applicants and matriculated students they welcomed during the last academic year before they embark on their travel so that they can adequately complete the exhibitor survey at the end of Brussels College Night.
C. Arranging high school/university visits – If there is a particular high school or university in Belgium you would like to visit in the day before the event, we are happy to help you arrange that visit upon request. Shuttle bus – The Fulbright Commission will provide a shuttle buses that will leave Central Station at 4pm (Note: we are meeting inside Central Station in front of Startbucks and we’ll walk 5min to where the bus is parked so please make sure you at the Central Statione at 3:45) for the International School of Brussels. University representatives were supposed to reserve their seat on this shuttle in advance; if you have not done so already and would like to take the shuttle bus to and from the event, please email email@example.com with your name and institution ASAP. University representatives will also be able to take the same shuttle bus back to Central Station after the event at at approximately 10pm.
Taxi – If you prefer to reserve a cab in advance, please ask your hotel concierge or try Taxi Bleus (Email: firstname.lastname@example.org, Tel: 02/204.21.11. Limited English spoken). Other taxis : Taxis Verts : 02/ 349.49.49, Coopération des Taxis Ucclois : 02/374.20.20 , Autolux : 02/512.31.23 which offers a “round trip/aller-retour” from the airport at a reduced rate. You give them the address to which you are going, which must be the same as where you will depart from and they will give you a coupon for the return trip.
Please note that streets and signs are labeled in the two official languages of Brussels: French and Dutch. However, most people will be able to assist you in English if necessary.
Volunteers in red shirts will be waiting at a table near the entrance to check you in and show you to your table.
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Representatives arrive and set-up their tables. Videos for the Commission’s online advising channel (www.youtube.com/fulbrightbe) will be recorded during this time. If you would like to reserve a recording time, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
6:00 PM – 7:0 PM: “Applying to U.S. Universities 101: An Informational Panel for Students and Parents” with EducationUSA staff and select university representatives
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: College fair
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Beer Tasting event
8:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Wine & cheese event for university representatives and high school admissions counselors
