On October 6, 2015, current and past Fulbright grantees met with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development Cooperation, Digital Agenda, Telecom and Postal Services Alexander De Croo in Brussels. After being welcomed by Fulbright Executive Director Erica Lutes, some of the recently returned grantees talked about their stay in the U.S. and what it was like now for them being back in Belgium. Mr. De Croo, a Fulbright alumnus himself, discussed his background and how his Fulbright grant has impacted both his business and political career.
The Fulbright Commission would like to thank Mr. De Croo for his kind hospitality and agreeing to meet with the grantees and hopes to host many more “meet and greets” in the future!
