The Commission in Brussels also administers the Fulbright-Schuman Program. The program, co-financed by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission and the U.S. State Department, funds graduate and postgraduate study, research, and lecture proposals in the field of U.S.-EU relations, EU policy, or EU institutions for interested American and EU citizens. Through this program, American professors and advanced graduate students may travel to EU Member States for study or research on topics relating to EU affairs or US-EU relations. Academics, professionals and policy makers from European Union member states may pursue similar courses of study, research, or lecturing at American colleges and universities. This is the only Fulbright program at the Brussels Commission that is open to citizens of all EU member states.
