Fulbright Partner Awards

While most of the funding comes from the Belgian and United States governments for awards whose eligibility is defined autonomously by the Commission, some awards are sponsored by individuals, companies, associations, and accredited Belgian and American universities solely for Fulbright applicants coming to or from their institutions. Some of these awards may have more specific eligibility requirements; if they do, these requirements will be listed in the award descriptions below.

If an applicant meets the eligibility requirements for a specific award, they will automatically be considered for this award during the application and selection process.

All of the following awards are administered as Fulbright awards by the Commission, and all award recipients will be considered Fulbright grantees and must travel to the United States on a government-sponsored J-1 visa.
